Finca San Francisco is owned and operated by Abelardo Reyes in the department of Intibuca in Honduras. This is the first year we had the pleasure of getting our hands on some of Abelardo's production.

A son of a coffee grower and a part of a family of 7 children, Abelardo started growing coffee in a 1 hectare farm inherited by his grandmother in 2006, and has now grown to a 15 hectare farm. 

This coffee is fully washed and dried on raised beds. The cup holds a rich body, with chocolate and caramel notes. We couldn't be happier to have this microlot as part of our seasonal offerings, and most importantly the premiums paid for this coffee directly impact Abelardo and his family.
